May 11, 2022 – Cleaning for a Reason, a provider of free home cleaning to patients battling cancer, has entered into a partnership with Potomac, Maryland-based CORA Technologies, a major provider of cleaning and service industry software.
Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities program that provides clean homes for cancer patients, has formed a strategic partnership with Cora Technologies, a leading provider of cleaning and service industry software. As a strategic partner, Cora will support Cleaning for a Reason’s efforts to increase awareness, recruit cleaning partners, and raise funds to serve more patients across North America.
“Cleaning for a Reason does incredible work by providing clean and safe homes for cancer patients in the fight of their lives,” says Chase Carlson, CEO, Cora Technologies. “We look forward to a successful partnership and doing our part to make a difference for cancer patients across North America.”
Cora is a technology company that aims to help facility and cleaning professionals enhance productivity, visibility, and transparency of cleaning practices. It recently launched cleancode, a web-based platform that uses QR codes to track, schedule, and validate facility cleaning. The technology helps managers evaluate and improve their cleaning operations and gives building occupants assurance that spaces are cleaned regularly and effectively.
“Our work would not be possible without our generous sponsors, and we’re thrilled to begin this partnership with Cora,” says ISSA Charities Director of Development Sandy Wolfrum. “Cora’s support will enable us to expand our network of cleaning partners and impact a greater number of cancer patients each year.”
Cleaning for a Reason partners with residential cleaning companies to offer free house cleanings to cancer patients in the United States and Canada. Any man, woman, or child undergoing cancer treatment can apply to receive two home cleanings from a local cleaning partner. By contributing to Cleaning for a Reason, corporate partners further its mission of providing a sigh of relief to those battling cancer and their families.
